‘Sediment’ is constructed from recordings made between 2021 and 2024.
I started assembling the session in 2022 from a folder with dormant files on my hard drive.
All source sounds come from a Serge synthesiser.
Approaching the work as a series of movements I then processed the raw material using the synthesiser or the computer.
On occasion parts were pulled like a string to become lush ambient tapestries, mangled to wring out bubbling patterns or ripped apart by the Serge or fuzz pedal.
I’ll do a small run of cassettes which will be available soon.
Each item will include an original drawing.
I hope you’ll enjoy this music and thanks for listening!
