Validation from Homing by Julia Lucille

This song is about getting into a music program and then not being able to go because of money. This was a huge disappointment at the time and left me feeling directionless and desolate. When I play this song I think about driving down the Oregon coast to my audition, watching the trees go by out my window and looking at the sky.

Ueland is Brenda Ueland, who wrote If You Want to Write. Remler is Emily Remler, a jazz guitarist who gave beautiful interviews.
