So, Silksong, huh?

As we approach the release day of Adelaide-based indie game studio Team Cherry's new opus, Hollow Knight: Silksong, I've been, for lack of a better term, giddy. I've been anticipating this game since 2020, and now that my patience has been rewarded, I could not be more thrilled. As soon as I find a way to play it, music's going to become an afterthought, and because of this, I'd like to get an album out before it releases. Is this filler? Yes. Is it my best work? FAR from it. But, it's also a collection of songs and experiments that at their oldest, have been waiting since 2023 to be released in some form. These tracks have been patient, and so have I. That's what this album is a celebration of.
