Turmalina - a piano prelude. Music composed and performed by Juan María Solare (born in Buenos Aires, 1966)

Turmalina (Spanish for Tourmaline) is a neoclassical prelude for solo piano, conceived in Worphausen (Germany) during the warming-up for a rehearsal at the Turmalin-Saal of the Niels-Stensen-Haus, and developed a few hours later in Bremen (on 13 December 2018).

Tourmaline is the name of a group of semi-precious stones.
