World Vibe by Jovan Landry
For Jovan Landry, World Vibe is dedicated to the dance community, Chicago, and travels to Nigeria, Haiti, and Cuba. It is a fuse of black dance music genres worldwide through Dancehall, House, Afro-Caribbean, and Afrobeat instrumentals. Considering the times we're living, Jovan elevates with vibes that are warm, celebratory, and free.

In short, dance music is deeply indebted to the global black community and we need to be doing more. Black artists and artists of color have played a profound role in shaping the sound and culture of dance music and now more than ever, it is necessary for everyone in the music community to stand up for the people that have given us so much."

Jovan is the recipient of the WeWork Creator Award; a grant used to produce the first all-women produced & performed hip hop album Synergy.
