Clover did you miss me?
Well I had not heard the sound
They say a stray spark caught you
and it burned you to the ground

When the nice folks need their cars fixed
tell me, where can they go?
Tip your hat kindly
and send them down the road

I smell the smell of livestock
wafting gently 'pon the breeze
it reminds me of a time
when I was not but seventeen

I strolled the lower hallways
with a CD in my hand
trying to get anybody
to listen to my band

From the hilltop I see
a glistening river in a valley so green
all the mountains are covered with trees
there is no place that I'd rather be

When I hit the highway
I always think about
the only place that know me
which I could not do without

Dear listener you might not
understand my train of thought
but this little green valley
is the best thing that we've got
