"Keep Falling" Is an exciting return to the emotional dance music lane by LA-based composer and producer Josh Jacobson.
Josh's artist career originally launched as a result of releasing music on Soundcloud and getting pulled into a DJ/producer collective with artists like Jai Wolf and Chet Porter, and opening up for dance acts like Louis the Child and Petit Biscuit before heading out on his own debut headline tour.
After releasing the OCEANS album in late 2019, tour plans were uprooted by the pandemic and Josh's career ended up taking an unexpected turn towards solo piano music after the exponential success of early releases in that lane, including the song "Echoes in the Wind" which has now surpassed 15 million streams.
With two full albums of solo piano music now out under his name, Josh has had a deep and fulfilling exploration of this kind of meditative music, and is now bringing all of this new perspective and sound design back into the world of electronic music. The beautifully recorded, cinematic felted piano is still there in the mix, but now the emotional synths and drums and vocals are back as well. Josh's bio on socials, "bringing peaceful piano to the rave", sums up the feeling of this new music nicely.
Regardless of the genre, all of Josh's releases connect back to a universal ethos of finding joy and meditative flow through music. Whether it's solo piano or dance tracks like this one, Josh's music has found an enthusiastic audience all over the world because the sound is unique, and there's a lot of meaning and purpose behind the music.
Josh Jacobson is a composer and electronic producer bringing together elements of dance music and soulful, meditative piano to create his own unique sound. Spiritual, textural, cinematic and inspired by time in nature, Josh's music is sure to take you somewhere.
