Dear listeners,
with my new album "Some Places" I have tried to integrate other musical flavors, such as trip hop, dub, jazz and house, into my own sound. The album works like a kind of travelogue of a daydream, a journey to different places around the world. A cartography of places that I know well and others that are familiar to me, from movies, books, old photographs.
All the layers and sequences of impressions and sensations, while I am dreaming contemplatively with my eyes open, condensed into drawings of music. In a retrospective view, where is the boundary between seeing images and actually being on the spot?
