But Beautiful by Jorge Estrada
John Conner, also known as Buddy Conner passed away in 2004 at 74, born and raised in Berkeley, California. He performed with Earl "Fatha" Hines, Pharaoh Sanders, Jimmy Witherspoon and others, he had several R&B hits in the 60's, He was a distinctive voice in the West Coast Jazz elite.
We recorded this classic in Zapopan back in 1994, John Buddy's voice and the incredible Richard Howell on Sax Soprano helped me make this heartfelt rendition of "But Beautiful".
