Lyrics

A gentile to the jew, like God who?
Eight years past before I arrived to a sign of a first deity.
Praying to Mary, while living up in Italy.
What an epitome of an idol?
Statue in the middle of the yard, six a.m. book bag and note cards.
Folded my hands and spoke from the heart, like who was this lady with my day I would start?
Just one year past I was back in the states, living in the burbs a yard with no gate.
The new kid on the block a magnet to hate, so I kept to myself and tried to escape the ridicule.
Like, Augustus Gloop.
A vain pursuit to hide the loot; a pirate, oops, of negativity.
No hope in a divinity, but at age twelve I found it in the trinity.

Fast forward, now in high school.
Hearts hard and to my parents surprise dude,
I was running, acting like a high fool, on hell's path.
Look at satan's mouth drool.
Tempting me at every single second.
Mind on the world, see the flesh beckon.
And I reckon, I lost my path.
People couldn't see it, leading kids to be it.
Truth is I was alienated.
Pause new thought, mind created the earth and skies.
This is just the start of vacation demise.
I said this was just the start of vacation demise.

Truly, truly, I say to you it was sad for me.
Like a Sadducee discarding the majesty.
Living happily, but worst than Oedipus, tragedy.
Cause in college, I was consumed by them bags of tree.
But now I'm not, wild and free but caught.
Lights of cops, but then God said STOP.
(You're never alone)
But I didn't want to listen.
Took me a whole summer just to figure out His mission.
Like saving the lost and filling up the missing with the His holy word.
So they can stop the fishing for them treasures that gon' perish.
Like that pumpkin carriage the clocks gonna stop before they have time to wear it.
Back to the message you're missing out on clearly.
Here's the reason I can call on him to near me.
The word omni-present, he loves all the dearly.
If you haven't yet then replay it so ya hear me.
