Catching Echoes from South Dakota by Jonah Knight
In 1996 the Hale-Bopp comet was perfectly aligned in front of my apartment. Every morning for weeks it was the first thing I saw walking outside and the last thing I saw before going in. I suppose people outside of South Dakota saw it as well, but, I suspect, not in such an all-encompassing way.
