The people who laid the first stones of the cathedrals hundreds of years ago never got to see the buildings completed, it's just the same with planting trees. When you plant an oak sapling, you will never see it grow to maturity and enjoy its shade on a summer's day, it will be generations to come that will have that pleasure and throughout its life that tree will support so much other life as well. When we plant trees, we live on and help the planet to live too.

Based in East Anglia, on the most easterly point of the British Isles, John has established himself as a prolific and formidable songwriter on the folk, roots & acoustic music scene & has 10 critically-acclaimed CDs & two published books to his credit. He writes in a wide variety of styles & tours extensively across the UK and beyond, most often with his Trio but also as a duo and sometimes solo.
