About John Garner & Simon Roth:
Fearless voyagers of England's North-South divide, John keeps his violins, flutes and gadgets in Gateshead and Simon his drums, clarinets, toys and Magic Box in London. The pair met through Manchester's Brighter Sound on a tour accompanying saxophone legend Chris Potter, subsequently forming a duo to explore their shared love of improvisation and surrealism. Their debut LP, ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ, is out on Wormhole World, and offers a taste of their ecstatic language of celebration, disruption and comedy.

KEELERTORNERO have cast their pantheon of favourite characters and creatures in an epic soap opera in which seemingly unconnected events can be traced back to an unseen framework. Chin Keeler and Emma Tornero work collaboratively.

About Avant Xmas:
John, a Buddhist, and Simon, a Jew have long been fascinated by Christmas and its bauble-shaped bounty of earworms. Convinced that there simply isn’t enough avant-garde xmas music out there for public consumption, the pair hope to join Mariah in the tinsel-decked halls of festive fame with their offering. Proceeds from cards and digital sales will be donated to MAP (Medical Aid for Palestinians) and PCFF (The Parents Circle-Families Forum), a joint Israeli-Palestinian organisation of over 600 families, all of whom have lost an immediate family member to the ongoing conflict. We hold the pain and grief of Palestinians and Israelis in our hearts and hope for peace and safety for all human beings.
