Wiretap by Joel David Weir
Wiretap was recorded mostly at the Cave studios in Crawfordsville, IN. Mixed and produced by Kevin "Extra" Stout. Primarily a band effort with some solo acoustic material included. Musically, I was influenced by Wilco, Ryan Adams, and The Who primarily during the recording. It was a joy to record this with two of my favorite people to play music with, Jeff Benson and Greg Dyken. Our band took the "rock show" on the road for a bit after this recording. Two tracks are extra on this recording - "Jumpstart" and "Beautiful Song" which were recorded at the Orange Room Studios with the lovely and talented Brandon Pfeiffer, who also remixed the single version of "Wiretap"
