Phonosyntesis is a concert composed for plants and human in Temperate greenhouse. A sound experience with Julie Semoroz. The audience is invited to use those sounds ine the greenhouse to create a sound forest with their phones at the end of the concert.

In the heart of the Botanical Garden's greenhouse, let yourself be enveloped by a moving sound nap, woven from whispers, distant resonances, and secret vibrations. Each visitor influences this ephemeral creation, becoming in turn an interpreter of this silent dialogue between humans and plants. An acoustic surprise awaits you...

Lasting 60 minutes, this poetic immersion transforms the greenhouse into a harmonious ecosystem where active listening and contemplation respond to each other. Between field recordings and live music for the humans and non-humans of the greenhouse, the experience invites a sensitive reconnection with the living—a collective ephemeral choir, where everyone participates in the music of the forest.

Julie Semoroz is a French-Swiss sound artist. Her work bridges art, science, and technology via concerts, immersive installations and experimental performance . She probes sound’s physical and emotional dimensions—its ties to body and environment—drawing on neuroscience, biology, and philosophy to explore interspecies communication, emotional vocalizations, and neuronal synchronization.
