Lyrics
October sun in August,
September wind in June,
Casted shadows of lusted pain,
I hope it's over soon.
Waterfalls of summer's vain
and building blocks of sorrow,
hidden under concrete logs
the sounds of my tomorrow.
I took from you the beaded rope
that dragged me back to shore,
tattered twine and salted skin,
the birds above me soar.
Taking from my empty pockets,
filled with silver coins,
leading me to big blue rivers
where I may soak my loans.
Washing me of angels trails
that dance across my back,
filling me with nature's warmth
the essence that I lack.
