Acoustic Demo by Jester & Sage
Jester & Sage is the original music project by Ian & Dan. They are based in NYC and have been recording & creating together for 17 years. This acoustic demo features a selection of Ian & Dan’s favorite original compositions. It also showcases two covers each from the most iconic duos of rock and roll, a beautiful song from one of the first bands Ian & Dan ever bonded over, and a haunting version of a jazz standard.
This acoustic demo was recorded for twenty hours straight the evening of December 7th into the morning of December 8th (2021) in East Hampton, with final components recorded for another seven hours later that day (amounting to over 27 GB of raw audio). Ian & Dan set out to mix and master the music in time to be sent out for the holidays, but then they were both hit with COVID-19. Needless to say, a lot has tried to stop them from getting this to you, but here it is at last.
