DeNatale Xmas came about swiftly in 2011. It was recorded at home in my studio. It was a way for my daughter, Scout DeNatale and I to spread some holiday cheer to family and friends… also a way for us to spend time singing together. It remains to this day one of the best times Ive had making music, Many of the vocals here were first take and the song choices were quickly made too, for how else would one decide upon the right Christmas song, but quickly. Over the years friends have asked if we would release this collection or make another. Each Christmas it gets taken out of the Christmas box and played, and each year I find a new favorite. It is the gift that keeps on giving. So in an effort to see if we might spread the joy a little farther, this year we’ve decided to release this record here on Bandcamp. We thank you very much.
