Instrumentalist and composer. Wilms has recorded and toured with many artists: NEA Jazz legend Chico Hamilton, Brazilian singer Bebel Gilberto, R&B legend Patti Labelle, and more. Wilms has also worked with MacArthur Grant winners Taylor Mac and Bill T. Jones, and jammed with Ornette Coleman once.
His music varies from chamber works, large ensemble, electronic, simple songwriting and beyond.
