You always look away from me when I’m talking
Turn around so you can see the way that I look at you

When you could be straight ahead you go sideways
When you lie down next to me it’s the wrong way and I’m a long way from the place that I wanted

I can’t sing these songs anymore
I gave up a long time ago but I’m searching to find a better part of me

The moon is a fader and I’m a stargazer
I’m an early morning and you are goodbye
The night is a black bird and I am a sparrow
I’ll sing to my love and fly through the dark

There are always things you can’t forget
A little road somewhere or a sound


I will miss the dreams in my head
I will miss the way it was
