I recently returned from a trip to Spain and Portugal, where I spent time exploring narrow, elegant, and ancient streets. As you stroll through these streets, you witness the harmonious blend of past and present, prompting contemplation of the countless layers of civilizations that have been built, destroyed, and rebuilt over millennia. This piece serves as an auditory landscape, capturing all these elements in layers. The rhythm track (Zendrum) forms the foundation, followed by piano, fretless bass, and expressive synthesizer (Haken Continummini played on LinnStrument).
Jeremy Cubert has not been thinking about music since 1973. He has recorded and played with Quest, Zapotec, Archaic Revival, Apothecary, Formativ, Iconic Sky, and The Alan Scott Band playing keyboards, Chapman Stick and other instruments.
