Wake Up! from Wake Up! by Jerboah
In the fashion of the movie “Don’t look up” (if you haven’t seen it I recommend it), the climate crisis denial creates this weird dialectic where people systematically dismisses the terrifying information about this crisis and the tangible effects of it.
This song speaks -not without sarcasm- about a terrible fact: it looks easier for humanity to imagine a dystopian/holocaustic future than accept our mistakes and decide to make some relatively small changes in our lives and the organization of our societies.

Not often, one bumps into a group where practically all members have different musical and cultural backgrounds. The Amsterdam-based Jerboah is such a group. Two of these four multi-instrumentalists play recorders. This, together with vocals, electric guitar, synthesizer and drums, results in wondrous art-rock. The vibe is vivacious and the sound is alienating. These are musical explorers.
