neverenoughforyou is a record that’s very personal to me. it wasn’t until i entered my thirties that i sought out professional help and was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, but it has been a part of my life for as long as i can remember... just lurking and working on my demise. my life has been crashing and burning 75% of the time, and that’s at any given timeframe of my adulthood. BPD hasn’t been the only contributor to that, but i’ve learned through several hard lessons and traumatizing events (for myself and loved ones) that it can’t be ignored, because believe me, i’ve tried.
part of my reasoning for putting a record out like this is because it wasn’t until a couple individuals entered my life a couple years ago and made me feel comfortable enough to seek help and answers for the first time for something that’s highly stigmatized, crippling, self-sabotaging, and just absolutely merciless. i guess i hope someone stumbles upon this and doesn’t feel alone anymore. because there’s hope and life is precious and doesn’t have to be a seemingly neverending hell ride.
