I felt the whole world gone askew with the slight of a hand
I fumbled through my hapless view for words that I couldn't land
Is it a mountain?
Is it a desert plain?
Something to be sustained
To make sense of what seems senselessly gained, I don't have an answer.

Only to find it faded
Our memory can't preserve a life

I left it up to chance at times when I did not have a plan
I guess I never made up my mind nor did I understand
Am I emotion?
