Ellis by Bombardier

D13.009. Released by D13. Film score for "Plasterhead," a feature-length independent horror film released in 2006. "Ellis", named after the town where the film takes place, contains dark atmospheres, experimental percussion, and filtered film dialog. The directors wanted no recognizable instruments in the score, so the recording process consisted of innovative ways to play traditional insturments, as well as a thick layer of analog synths and effects.

Bombardier is Jason Snell’s primary music project, a militaristic commentary on the post-Vietnam era. Side projects include 13th Hour (deep industrial) and Kamphetamine (electronic punk).
