Powerhouse - LIVE by Powerhouse
Powerhouse first formed as a songwriting workshop created by Pat Buffo and me. It was never meant to be a performing act, but a creative outlet due to the inertia of the band we were in at the time. It wound up exceeding our expectations and lasted for two years, actually giving its 'parent band' a real run for its money.
Conflicts arose and I left the parent band. They later released the material I didn't write under the other band's name.
I released the solo CD (Great Beyond) in 2014, containing some of the PH material 10 years later.
That, folks, is rock and roll.
These board mixes are from a live performance, July 4th of 2004.
I can't cite with specificity what venue it was, unfortunately.
Audience response is minimalistic, due to the lack of proper ambient room mics. It was only meant to be a reference recording.
It's not perfect, but it is what it is...
