Vials of purple line the wall, all neatly arranged
It carefully fills a syringe and then it fills my veins
I lie on the cold floor as the sensation runs through me, trying to convince me it is everything I need

Is this painful comfort or comfortable pain?

I fluctuate between these states, each claiming to be me, but this fluid quietens voices telling me what I can be
I boarded up the windows so no one can peer inside, but once I've seen what can be shown to me, I will return in time

Empty vials across the floor
Only one remains
I can feel the purple pulsating and writhing in my veins

Grass against my skin
Light against my eyes
White stars burning all across a neon purple sky devoid of any eyes to bear witness to my face illuminated by the light of this infinite space

I can feel my self dissolving into everything
I can just close my eyes and listen to the neon sing
I'm sinking underground
I'm floating up high
The pieces of me are alligning in that neon sky
