Lyrics

Mum was so tight she was a small town weeper
and my daddy didn’t care he was a slack dick sleeper
but we’d all come home and gather round the table again
They’d talk about their days and what I did at school
They’d talk about the weather and then treat me like a fool
and they’d talk about things that they wished that they could do

And I never wanted all their limits in me

Once upon a time it was meat and three veg
But now my chilli chicken is the thin end of the wedge
as I show them what their tongues are made for
Now I stop them talking by stuffing them with food
and as they’ve told me many times it could be thought as rude
to talk with your mouth full even when you’re chained down

Even though they died a month or two ago
I make them feed their faces cuz how will they grow
if they don’t eat their greens up they wont grow big and strong
So now the final meal is in the main course
I crucified the cat and put the budgie in the sauce
An’ if I keep on I might just feed them myself
Now they’ve got me locked in a home for the insane
the nurses keep on plugging a voltage to my brain
If they’d just left me alone I might have got better
