Gargantuan by Jake Murray
With 'Gargantuan' I've attempted a massive audible experience wherein exploring new sounds and effects was all part of the goal. Spontaneous creation still remains as the starting point for writing these instrumental songs, however, lots of time and hard work went into attempting to perfect each song as they meld into each other. This differs greatly from my usual raw approach to songwriting. From start to finish, I hope they tell a story, convey emotions and inspire... or at the very least you just plain 'ole enjoy them.
With this album I tread some familiar Post-Rock waters but also venture out into the Alternative-Metal deep (among some other playful genres). I am very proud of it and I really hope you enjoy it!
