VR from Totally Awkward by Jacob Haller

‘VR’ is the latest single from Jacob Haller’s upcoming album, 'Totally Awkward' (out October 4 on 75orLess Records).

In VR, Haller sings a duet with Siri in a song that teeters uncomfortably between being a joke and an existential crisis. The song's chromatic chord progression and strict avoidance of any kind of rhyming is overlaid with Chris Brooks's dreamlike pedal steel guitar, emphasizing the singer's tenuous grip on reality. It's a unique sound for a unique song!
