Pictures fall where they’re hanging
Smashed glass in the kitchen sink
You’ll be gone in the morning
I’ll be out ‘till the street lights blink

And I can’t bear the silence
When all of our rationalisations take flight
I don’t know why I’m like this
I just always want to fight

A lone badger is staring
As I walk though the lanes trying to clear my head
So brave and so peaceful
As she goes through the bins to find food for her set

And I cannot keep quiet
Everything comes out before I know if it’s right
I don’t know why I’m like this
