Impulse is Jabberwocky's new EP, designed as a soundtrack to the first rays of sunshine. The 6 tracks draw on the duo's DNA while turning their attention to the dancefloor.
There are raw, UK-style club tracks like G-SPEC, as well as tracks like Keep On that are reminiscent of the duo's signature: synths that flirt with melancholy and soaring, heady vocals that go straight to the heart. Finally, Good Tonight, inspired by disco samples, unfurls danceable loops carried by an ultra-efficient house rhythm.
With each new release, Jabberwocky are forging a more dance-oriented path, and Impulse is a powerful affirmation of their new identity.
