Nevermind by Izunami

We wrote Nevermind about dealing with negative energy in our lives.
We all knew this person who would just come around and suck all the fun out of day-to-day life.
To me the song is about cutting out that negative energy and growing from it.

As for the fun stuff!
We recorded the single in Nashville.
We did tons of pranks on each other for example. During the recording of Nevermind, we pranked our bassist by spiking reaper pepper sauce on a sandwich and it was hilarious. and explored the city in between recording sessions. It was so much fun and I feel like we really connected more as a band!

Izunami is a band from Southeastern Kentucky.
Originally known as Kanashii,
a Japanese word that translates to sad, miserable, unhappy, or sorrowful person. The band decided to use this name since the original creation of the band was to be an outlet to help cope with negative emotions.
in the year 2023 the band has been reborn as Izunami is based on the Japanese goddess of creation/Destruction.
