Welcome to, Earth! Well, not quite how you’d remember it. Nudged somewhere between reality and fantasy, DJ POTARA blends them both into this self titled project. He is neither itachi; nor dj rapture; He is the one whose tunes will get you off your ass! By merging the sounds of our world with visions of Dragon Ball, DJ POTARA will take you on a heart pounding adventure through sound and style alike!
If you’re unfamiliar with the definition of Potara, let me put it this way. Once you press play on this release, both aforementioned artists fuse into a different being. An evolved figure with an infinite source of groove; a cosmic force of slush. For the duration of this experimental work, they become me, DJ POTARA!
I want to take you there, the place those two set out to find in fusion. Through these sounds compiled you’ll see the journey they led to me, an otherworldly whirlwind of my own take on vaporwave. Although, it’s not all night lights and sunsets; the future will become dismal. You must prepare for the worst, as once the timer runs low these sounds distort. Enjoy the bright moments while they last, eventually it will dawn on a day you’ll wake up.
But never mind that for now, I wanna show you something new. Enjoy my experimentation brought forth between this fusion of artists, reaching out into the ether.
