track released September 17, 2024
Recorded live in the Dungeon, in Hamden CT 2024
This first recording was done with a matched pair of ADK Lolly mics, into an Apollo into MOTU's Digital Performer (DP). A little hall reverb was added, tiny adjustment to panning, and nothing else, no eq no other processing. I'd love to hear what you think. I'm just happy to be able to play again.
I'm thankful that Larry Villella talked me into buying a matched pair of his ADK microphones- they sound wonderful.
Thanks to ALL the wonderful people who donated via my GoFundMe to make this piano play so beautifully. It's still a work in progress, but it is getting better each time.
Thanks to Ken Huebner for his excellent work replacing the action with carbon fiber parts, and all new hammers.
Thanks to Linda Hinz who introduced me to Ken.
Thanks to all my social media friends, who were so supportive during those time.
THANK YOU to my wonderful family. Without your love, patience and support, none of this would have happened.
And last but certainly NOT least, MASSIVE thank you to my beloved sweet darling Lydia, my Much Better Half, who has helped me get through this. She is the foundation, the core. She is simply THE BEST.
