Nassau by Ironing

Originally released as a CDr on Hymns (hymn 27).

"Recorded on a cruise ship en route to and in Nassau, Bahamas in 2005. Microcassette recordings manipulated and mixed with live Bahamian radio on the Lido deck in the wee hours of the morning. For those who like their field recordings and pop songs lo-fi, messy, and mixed together."

Microcassette recordings captured November 17-18, 2005 aboard the Carnival Fantasy cruise ship at sea and in Nassau, Bahamas. Manipulated and mixed with live Bahamian radio on the Lido deck in the wee hours of November 19, 2005 using Realistic microcassette recorder, Sony Sports Walkman, Memorex portable handheld cassette recorder, 1/8" y-adapter and 1/8" to 1/8" cable. Transferred to computer at the Pumphouse Studio in Rock Hill, SC over Thanksgiving weekend with the help of Herschel Brown. Mastered by Johan Ess December 17, 2005.
