Rainer T. Pappon, a guitarist born in São Paulo in 1961, has 6 solo albums of progressive rock, and has played for over 30 years with Zappa cover bands. He's on the list of the 70 best Brazilian guitarists, nominated by the Brazilian Rolling Stone magazine in 2012. His current band Ippon's ingredients are the joy and lightness of Surf Rock, the twin-guitar melodies and Post Punk's bittersweet.
