Shadows Ricochetting from Cerulean Echoes by Concrete Castles

Here's where the whole story gets a bit wierd.
A spring night, i went to bed on time.
The moon was howling
I could see the city glimmer from my window
I fell asleep

(pause)

At 3:34 am I woke up with a spin
My lips were dry,
and I could hear rain begin to patter from outside
propping out of bed, my hand brushed against the dated wood

Light headed as I was, i went to the tap
and drank a cup of water.
You ever half awake and not thinking straight
and you double check your surroundings
from an unwarranted paranoia

I was doing that
I stepped with a sharp turn
and something glimmery distinctly caught my eye.
