Lyrics by Eli Wallis.

Entwining Two Warm Bodies:

saint john the evangelist
are these flies my holy plague

saint john the evangelist
is this how noah felt need
for a lifelong project to
get lost in cope with a wrath
full god and wet wet world

saint john the evangelist
is it god entwining two
warm bodies in a shower
in the dark one final time
in the abstract shadows that
now look so melancholic
in the foggy words the cruel
things said now lost in the steam
in the bruise on my hip or
the memory of his scent

saint john the evangelist
it is all that wrong to pray
for a few foil fetches

saint john the evangelist
did jesus christ ever wake
up feeling all is pointless

trees are beautiful bare rings
sweetly documented and
stranger undocumented
fruits sweeter still their tastes too
elusive too make it in
too texts or else they live there
already and we've never
been properly introduced

good day! sir good morning lost
roll of rockets their tiny
powdery bodies slightly
crushed under unknowing foot

bear and bird were made for him
picture a man who thinks that
they would never laugh at him
