This is the 2020 re-release of the original 2016 concept album by Synapse Failure, an In Fine Mundi sideproject.

In the near future. Humanity has developed towards permanent perfection. Enhanced with implanted chips in their brains and a direct connection to the collective network run by the Mega Corporation, people think and behave as one. Effectiveness is the new religion, everyone is a polished cogwheel, supporting the all-encompassing bleakness that mankind has become.
Only for a few hours of sleep they are free. Or aren't they?
Follow the mind of one person, who doesn't want to fit in. Join him in his dreams on a tour-de-force which tests the boundaries of sanity. Enter The Grind...
