Prog Glitch by INFECTED SENSES

PROG GLITCH (a genre name I am now absolutely claiming haha) is a fractured album built from cultural afterimages, digital debris, and analogue ghosts. Meant to be heard in one continuous sitting, and a kind of companion to the previous release (Trauma industrial complex) It treats progressive music like light through a cracked screen. And yes, the cover is a joke. Don’t ask about post-Syd Barrett Floyd.

Bernard Herrmann’s psychological cinema shadows brush against pixels of Gary Numan and the cut-up charge of early Meat Beat Manifesto. Playful plunderphonic impulses collide with anarchic sample logic in the spirit of Eric André’s BLARF.

Threads of social-media audio, found acapellas, anonymous easy-listening, and stray jazz from forgotten TV documentaries weave through it all. January storm recordings from the Devon coast slice the collage with rain-lashed air.

Both playful and sincere: a concept album for an age that no longer trusts concepts.
