Cinematic Memories by Doris Dana

Cinematic memories is a fictional soundtrack filled with textures of controlled ferocity and dark electronics. It is a journey taking place in expansive sonic landscapes, juxtaposed with the cacophony of conversations that never were—in this film of the mind, unresolved tension is superimposed over emotional sonic atmospheres.

This album was recorded over the course of 2020 and early 2021 in a small bedroom studio in Miami, FL, and a couple of hotels in Los Angeles, CA with a small array of friends and collaborators and greatly inspired by Andrey Tarkovsky’s Sculpting in Time and Genesis Breyer P-Orridge’s holophonic sound.
