A flicker of consciousness and a birth of an existence. Worlds float upon the edge of thoughts. Life and struggle manifested from fleeting desires. It is a brief moment upon the wave of inevitable decay. The semblance of sanity and fabric of space fray under the weight of time. Boundaries of madness overwhelm, leaving decomposing grains of order in the wake. Beings twist and distort to survive upon the rotting echoes of the past. Chaos is the future and the future is death. Reality is being butchered for the void...

“Butchered Realities” is a tribute to the Quake community who have created so many hostile worlds for us to enjoy! Many of the tracks found here originally debuted in Quake projects such as “Realm of the Lost” and the various map jams. Two prolific creators, PalmliX and NewHouse, designed the album cover in collaboration. I want to thank the community for supporting my work for so many years!
