This is both a retrospective and a continuation of the journey. Some old songs needed to be saved from digital oblivion, dusty old hard drives and even cassettes. As such, some tracks have a noticeably retro quality. There are also some newer contributions; commentaries on the complicated world we live in today.

Immaculata began in Ballarat in the early 90's, went through several incarnations and lineup changes before emerging with a distinct aesthetic that blends romantic sensibilities with an ironic nod to the dystopia that has replaced the naive vision of the future from the synthwave age.
