This project was written under the influence of Seattle, trees, rappers, college, planet earth, stars, friends, fam plus a lotta love and all the rest of the highs and lows of modern life.
From a deep need to create in a culture of consumption comes 50-minutes of honest expression. ‘DarkOutside’ is not a rap CD, not a mixtape and not a party mix… it's more like modern mythology. Search out the themes, meet the characters, judge the mistakes, and build your own story around the words, melodies and vibes. This project is a couple of years in the making and we’re stoked to let it go.
The year is 2012 and it has never been easier to create and publish authentic art in history. Our experiences, dreams and thoughts combined with our time, energy and resources has become this project. . The goal is simply to put our vibrations out into the universe.
