I Quit takes reality and pulls it inside out to expose the innards of our destructive mental environment. Our incessant drive to digitally stay connected tears away at our senses and creates the illusion of relationships. This gross ambition towards alienation has generated ever more anxiety in a society already on the verge of its own demise.

Through the process of reification, humanity is enslaved by the very products it produces. These products help to distract us from a fear of boredom (which would lead to thoughtfulness if utilized), pure freedom, loneliness, and death. I provide both subtle and crude references to overcoming this addiction to things and accepting our unavoidable mortality.

I Quit is a cut-up that tells the story of a reawakening that is spawned by utilizing pure freedom and setting the foundation for transcendence. Among all the chatter and distractions, I drag loneliness to the forefront and expose its importance.
