In spite of this her eyes are wild and fierce
when she comes off bends,
in the morning before her sober settles in.
"I've been down this road," she said.
"Take it slow boy, no need to rush what will end."

My empty hands try to hold her's,
but she's not one for chance
since her father said
no one will ever lover her. Well, the joke’s on him
as she bites her lip,
bats her lashes, and lays those baby blues on thick.

"to keep good love from going bad."
