It was the # 1 Most Added Electronic Single (along with "Leaf Syndrome" aka a "Dual Single") at North American College Radio for the week ending April 27th, 2021. It was the 8th Most Added Overall (tied w/ Chemical Brothers).
"Not long ago my friend was diagnosed with cancer and Patterns is about how we both processed the news and how it affected our relationship. I went through a period of dissociation, of feeling detached from reality. Thankfully, my friend beat the shit out of his cancer and we remain close to this day".
