Illuminate by Hydro Walkers
Dear person listening,
Do you ever feel like the path you're on isn't well lit? You feel kinda lost, asking, am I even going in the right direction? I've had many of these moments. I've felt like I could only see a foot in front of me. Moments when, I would shout in frustration, "God! Show me what you want, tell me what I should do!" and ended up feeling alone, like God was hiding from me. Why would God ignore me? Doesn't He care? My impatience, selfishness, ego, pride, among many others faults hindered my progress. I got tripped up in all these lies. Over the years I've learned that I don't always have to know what's ahead or know everything that is to come, I just need to trust God and know that He does know what's ahead. If I walk with Him, I know I'll see as much as I need to and I can trust and lean on that. It's better to walk in the dark with the one that knows what's ahead than to walk alone in the unknown with a flashlight.
