or order out for food, and eat like royalty.
The algorithm is scientifically
engineered to engage you infinitely.
Cast your eyes anywhere, you’ll find pleasure for a fee.
That's because, by design, the suffering is free.

Chemical smell of plastics,
dollar store theatrics.
Every shooter thinks that
they're the good guy with the gun.

Heart attacks, strokes, and cancer,
pray to the necromancer.
We adapt to survive.
We teach the children how to hide.

I'm not made for this,
but who is?
What if we made a world where we didn't
have to be armed to the teeth to feel safe?

All the homes lit up at night
as if they were tourist destinations,
every doorbell a spy camera,
every citizen their own sovereign nation.
